I bought three standard (for 2x3 gutters) Downspout Cleanout and Leaf Filter units, plus three 4" catch basins plus fittings to adapt to thin wall SDR pipe, and everything worked out great and was of very high quality and well designed. The photos are two of the clean out/filter units.

I had the catch basin positioned just before a Flo Well dry well, with a pop up emitter on top of the catch basin so it would overflow if the dry well got completely full.

One tip that I found, was to use the SDR pipe with the large built in coupling bell end at the top so the height of the NDS pop up emitter could be easily adjusted.

These products are excellent. I used both 3 and 4 inch solid pipe for my downspout system--the leaf catchers on each downspout (excellent product) pop-up emitters with turf restricters and catch basins with turf restricters. The tape they have is great too. The ordering process was simple and they even commented on my design. Shipped right to my house. Everything was perfect. My yard still needs a French Drain system installed and I will be using French Drain Man products for that job too. I have a video of the job but its too large but I'll keep trying to get it posted. It was a big job--about 200 feet of system.

We recently have had The French Drain man complete 3 underground gutter drains, with downspout cleanout, catch basin, and pop up drain. They were installed under cement walkways already in place. From the moment they arrived you could see they were very organized and meticulous about their business. They have what they do down to a science. There was no guessing as they had a plan in place for our yard before they arrived. They used top notch products, and completely put everything back and cleaned up as if they were never there. Exceptional Customer Service! I was in dire need of x2 4" Catch Basin risers to complete a job that I wasn't able to complete this past weekend so I called French Drain on Tuesday morning and the person I talked to was very nice and professional she told me the shipment will take 5 days to ship so I asked if they had a dealer in California that I can call and they gave me a number to Old Home Specialist in Sacramento Ca. and I called them and left a VM and by noon Brent Bennett (Owner Of Old Home Specialist) called me back and he went out of his way to ship me these two risers and dropped them off at Fedex and I had the parts by Thursday and I was able to complete the job on Saturday. Oh! and Brent didn't even charged me for the shipping or the part. Brent said that it's important for him that his customers succeed. Wow! want a honest and caring Man Brent is. I'm not joking, I don't usually write reviews but I really needed to write this one. I would definitely call Brent back in the future.

I’m very thankful for the education that French drain man has given me. Also, the products have been very helpful. I’ve ordered four catch basins and they’ve worked great. With that I have successfully redirected the water from the gutters from a troublesome side of my house and the back of my house. Now the next project is to do the same in front of the house. And when I do, I’ll definitely be ordering more products from the French drain man.

They have everything I needed to really do my downspout drainage right. With the downspout cleanouts, catch basin and excellent pop-up emitter I can now handle Florida's summer thunderstorms and get the water far away from the house. Excellent training videos to help a DIYer.

I have purchased three of the downspout kitswhich have the 3 inch hose, pop up emitter, dowspout adapter and catch basin. All parts fit well. I was able to install with no problems. Two of the installations required digging under sidewalks. I have four more downspouts that I will use the FDM kits on. I live in Maine so I needed to drill holes in the catch basin and emitter to drain the system.

Phenomenal products!! I have 4 downspouts, 3 of which were improperly buried by landscapers. I have replaced 2 of them myself with the 3" Premium PRO Kit for Buried Downspouts. AMAZING!! What a difference! This was a fun little project, time and effort will vary depending on your yard conditions. Great before and after results, I find myself grabbing an umbrella during rains just to see it in action. I love it. I'm going to replace the other 2 downspouts this spring, one of which is PVC and froze this winter, I wish I did that one first. I highly recommend getting a catch basin also, it's crazy how much shingle debris it catches. Yes, they are a bit pricey relative to the junk sold in the big box stores, but you definitely get what you pay for. Do it right the first time and it will be cheaper in the long run.

FDM provides the best pipe and drainage systems out there. I have peace of mind install installing the systems because I know the pipe will last forever the leaf filter and catch basin will keep it running clean for many years. It is already helping with the bugs in my basement and will probably help reduce mold too. They are very responsive to questions and concerns on their YouTube channel as well.

Very happy with the product I received. I'm using the popup emitter with the catch basin for my downspouts. The flap style on this emitter allows leaves and debris to easily flow out or collect in the catch basin with less worry about clogging and plugging up the emitter. A bit more expensive than other popups but the clog free nature is good insurance in my wooded location. I'm ordering two more today.
