Learned a lot from Robert's videos on Youtube about french drains/gutter downspout projects. Very informative and helpful. Purchased material in late October of 2025 for two gutter downspouts out to daylight (Over 100 FT) in the Chicagoland area. I went with FDM products because I appreciate that it's made in the US and quality craftmanship. I wanted something reliable that would last a long time. The only item I didn't buy was their heavy duty corrugated pipe due to the cost of shipping, otherwise, I would have. Took advantage of the sale. Would recommend his product and plan on buying more on the future gutter downspout project.
I hired this group for a consultations. They drew the design out on paper and provided links to the products that would make the system work. Perfect implementation. I use FDM for all my yard drain needs.
After we bought our 100-year-old house, I did a lot of research before attempting to fix our horrible basement flooding. After every medium to heavy rainfall, our entire basement would be covered with 3 to 6 inches of water. I spent days pumping water after every rain shower. French Drain Man was easily the best resource I could find, from their excellent help videos to their superb products. We called several businesses to help us and they all wanted $3,500 or more for minor fixes. Most said we had to pay well over $10,000 to add additional sump pumps and French drains along the all basement walls. After less than $1,000 and three days of work (following the advice of French Drain Man and using my favorite FDM products), I stopped our basement flooding. It's now bone dry and has been that way for almost one year. I especially love their popup emitters and downspout leaf filters. Definitely worth the extra cost, and shipping was fast. I could not be happier with FDM!

Fabulous stuff. All the hard to find fittings made extra, heavy duty here in the States. Nothing like the flimsy stuff in the big box stores that I've been using for the last 40+ years. Outstanding product quality and functionality! Pop-up with Turf Restrictor Plate is genius and performs exactly as advertised. Solid parts and love the backup spare parts provided with this and the replacement pop-up door. Adding weight on the pop-up door is very helpful. Highly recommend these products and subscribing to the YouTube videos where it the real results can be seen!
